Belated Memoir

We celebrate our victory from the battle of cold virus and my birthday at the cinema today.

This is also Lun’s first movie. We line up early at the ticketing counter to catch the first scene of the day.
It was Sunday. We over estimate the crowd and had to queue a long snake line for tickets. When we reach the booth, the 11;45am show had stared. All seats were occupied till 4:15 pm which we were lucky to grab the couple seat specially for lovers. And extra cost of RM4 but good enough. We save a RM12 ( the third seat.)

Back home again to wait for another 4hours. Lunch was spend in the vegetarian restaurant nearby. Lun was excited. I tried to calm him down and took him for an afternoon nap. He refused; crying out loud in tantrum. Sensing the unknown excitement coming near. He wanted to be the first to greet them. Cinema! What is Cinema? All he was told was an enormous TV. So, I leaved him playing alone pretend baking cloth like his granny who were baking cookies.
I cooked his dinner and bath him. Another half and hour more. We read our big book. I flip to the pages for animals. Must let him know what is panda before he sees the cartoon panda. We talk about Panda, tiger, and of cos his favorite construction vehicles.
Then off we go to the Cinema again.

Brought out stool for Lun to seat on. He was amaze when we were seated on the chairs. Cinema, which was still lights on, is a whole new experience. I fed him dinner and we waited patiently for everyone to be seated and the show. He pointed the walls decorated with 3D murals of gigantic films and laugh excitedly.
Finally, lights off. Show began.
