I’ve recently came across a math reading book, Tell Me How Much It Weighs-Whiz Kids by Shirley Willis.
I love this informally learning about maths. Containing fun fact of the weigh of earth and the most heavy creature in the world. It also inclusive a few activities to weigh on our own.

This is one interesting user friendly online game found at Scholastic. It is so comprehensive I must say Lovin’ it!
Tired of teaching Science with no tools to make your child understand?  Ran out of ideas to have fun with English?
At Scholastic Computer lab, there is English, social studies, science, math and Spanish for K2 to grade 5.
One could just watch the video or play games.

Activities include phonemic awareness and reading games from Clifford, science from Magic School Bus, writing activities from “Dog’s Life” and other “Flashlight Readers, and the poetry machine.

Vedic math for kids.

A nice cup of Milo and a pile of newspapers is the perfect combination lunch break for me. I’ve found an interesting news about this vedic math introduce by Math Monkey. It says in the main title in光明日报副刊 (Guang Ming newspaper)  as 古印度教学法,吠陀激发数学兴趣. (Ancient Hindu math teaching method, vedic match-inspire the love for math.)
