Well… well… since everyone who blog will somehow or rather create their own header. It just like refurbish your own house. Color is on the top list, and of cos white background makes everything clear. (The best color.) But, I’m a fancy person who love fancy color. I will need some help to mix-n-match.
Here is some place you could get help. Listing from my favorite to least.
Join their free account and you’ll be able to download their color chart in all sorts of format. They don’t just stop there, you could even find patterns for your background. [ here]

This is a nice color wheel for finding the web safe color. A DIY color chart of your own within mouse click.

This is a very good tools for those user with Safari Browser you could just install their widget to view all types of color scheme. As I’m running on Win 2000 platform, I haven’t got the chance to try. It’s ok, they have samples to be downloaded by anyone. Their files are in .css [ here] So, you don’t have to search for hex code for your style sheet.


This is a very good site for matching key images color. just direct them to the images url, they will do the rest.

Adobe Kuler
Hard to describe, this is good for design avid not for beginner. You might get stuck in their chart.
